The Festival Città Impresa serves as a prominent platform for international dialogue on crucial issues affecting the modern economy and society. Held annually in both spring and autumn, the festival transforms Vicenza and Bergamo into hubs of debate on economics, politics, and culture, becoming a key reference point for opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, and representatives of society.
Under the theme How the American vote changes things. Technology, sustainability, global competition, and the role of Europe, Bergamo Città Impresa – which we had the pleasure of attending in early November – provided a valuable platform for reflection and dialogue on the future of industry and the economy in Italy and beyond. At a time marked by rapid technological advancements, challenges in sustainability, and evolving dynamics of global competition, collaboration between businesses, institutions, and local communities is critical for developing innovative solutions. Our commitment to helping companies improve their performance aligns with these themes: we believe that optimising business processes, adopting digital technologies, and implementing sustainable practices are essential to ensuring the competitiveness of Italian and European companies in a constantly changing international landscape. For these reasons, our participation was a must.
The Festival, held just before the US presidential elections and five months ahead of the European elections, aimed to provide insights through thorough analysis. Key sectors – including automotive, labour markets, public administration, and the emerging challenges of artificial intelligence – dominated discussions among entrepreneurs, economists, and institutions, who explored future scenarios and strategies.
Over the three days of events in Bergamo, our speakers explored the major transformations underway, offering the audience – including students and other interested stakeholders – valuable insights into the future challenges facing businesses and regions in our country.

In addition to our participation in panel discussions and interviews conducted at the mobile studios set up with Radio 24, we also played a special role in the Premio Letteratura d’Impresa award ceremony in Bergamo.
This initiative aims to foster cultural growth by promoting a modern business culture capable of stimulating the development of Italy’s industrial fabric while adhering to an ethic shared by all. As passionate advocates – writers, editors, curators, and translators – of business literature, it was a great pleasure for us to award the auxiell Special Mention to the best book, carefully selected from the finalists, that addresses process-related themes.
Sharing the stories of successful companies is essential for them to serve as genuine examples for others, based on their achievements and the strategies they have implemented.
This year, the auxiell Special Mention award went to Michele Ferrero by Salvatore Giannella, which tells the inspiring story of a man, an entrepreneur, and a company that made history. The same book also won the Premio Letteratura d’Impresa.
Thanks to the entire ItalyPost team for this invaluable opportunity!
