The relationship with the Barilla Mexico team began in 2023 with the aim of triggering a shared cultural change in the team through the introduction of the lean system. The company wanted to overcome an approach focused on a single process in order to build a common vision - capable of orienting everyone towards a single objective and favouring a sustainable transformation over time through the diffusion of a culture of improvement in the organisation.

The path of change began with training programmes designed to align each area towards a more effective management oriented towards continuous improvement. The training - aimed at a multidisciplinary team with different operational roles - introduced the principles of the lean system, making it possible to directly compare daily behaviours. Resistance to change - typical in contexts tied to established methods - gave way to a more open dialogue on what activities and behaviours were in line with the new system and what needed to be rethought. What emerged was a greater focus on the cultural, behavioural and management aspects of leveraging technical skills to increase business performance.

As the project progressed, awareness of each individual's role in the overall vision grew - a step that strengthened involvement and fostered more effective collaboration towards common goals.
