Cartotecnica Postumia specialises in designing, printing, and manufacturing paper packaging for food products and retail shopping bags.
The realisation that the organisational model was no longer adequate to the demands of the market prompted Pierluigi Gava, CEO and General Manager, to seek alternatives, which took the form of self-training and the application of lean tools. It was necessary to intervene at a systemic level by sharing the lean principles to ensure they were understood and assimilated by all employees.
Considerable resources were invested in the lean culture project, which consisted of training modules, workshops, and coaching sessions aimed at transforming processes. The result was the transformation of a group into a team through a process of aggregation and training that is now underway and continuously improving.
Today, dozens of improvement projects are continuously initiated and simultaneously advanced in each process, guided by method, motivation, and the skills acquired.
The synergy within the team is the key factor that has made Cartotecnica Postumia a standout example.
